On the instructions of the Lieutenant General, Máximo William Muñoz Delgado, Director General of the Directorate General of Migration (DGM), teams composed of inspectors and agents of the DGM, with the support of the military personnel of the Army of the Republic Dominican Republic and in coordination with the public prosecutor's office of the province have been deployed for migratory control operations in different places of the Hato Mayor del Rey Province among others : La China, Los Hatillos, La Pocilga, Los Solares, Villa Vilorio, Vicentillo.

During these operations carried out after intelligence work, 327 Haitians and also some Chinese were arrested. After the purge process, 59 Haitian nationals and 3 Chinese migrants in an irregular migration situation were deported to their country of origin.

The DGM reiterates that these operations will be carried out continuously in other provinces of the national territory, to continue locating foreigners in violation of the provisions of Law 285-04 on migration.
