This week, the Lorquet Foundation for a New Haiti (FOLONHA), supported the initiative of several leaders and the town hall of Saint-Marc to carry out a vast operation of cleaning and sanitation.

This operation called "clean city", organized on the initiative of the League of pastors of St. Marc, with the participation of members of various religious congregations and civil society, with the support of the City Council of St. Marc, mobilized several hundred citizens.

Equipped with brooms, shovels, wheelbarrows, rakes, the Saint-Marcois proceeded to the collection of detritus strewn the streets, the canals and decongested the sewers. This activity falls within the framework of the biblical prescriptions that encourage Christians not only to evangelize, but also to participate actively in the social development of their community.
