On Saturday, President Jovenel Moïse, accompanied by his wife Martine and local elected officials visited several localities on Île-à-Vache.

Moïse went to the Ile-à-Vache airport, to assess the progress of the work, then in the tourist area of Kay Kok and Baleraz one of the richest freshwater areas of the island.

Continuing his tour, President Moïse spoke with the people of the Island, including those from Lasous, Kafou Sitwon, Gran Plèn, Lafòtin and Bwa Baton communities around the difficulties facing the island.
