Saturday, as part of the 41 years of existence (April 22, 1977 - April 22, 2018) of the National Radio of Haiti (RNH) a mass of thanksgiving was celebrated in the morning in the church Notre-Dame d’Altagrâce on the road of Delmas, by the parish priest, Father Sinal Normil and in the evening a Gala highlighted this anniversary in the gardens of the Hotel NH El Rancho in Pétion-ville.

In this circumstance, Calvin Cadet, the Director General of the Ministry of Communication recalls in a note "[...] The commendable but also eventful history of the National Radio of Haiti (RNH), has marked several generations and continues to reflect the image of a reference media always in constant struggle to respond to its mission.

Educating, training and informing the population is not easy in a society where the demands are numerous and often supported, fueled, influenced in certain media by political classes [...] I salute the courage and professionalism of the team of the National Radio of Haiti and my Ministry is committed to accompany the RNH so that it can hold its mission and remains a media of public services."
