The National Library of Haiti (BNH) invites you to a talk with the Haitian playwright, comedian, singer, poet and writer Frankétienne, Thursday, April 26, 2018, on the occasion of the 82nd anniversary of the author of "Pèlen Tèt" .

The activity will begin at 10:00 am at # 193

Born April 12, 1936, in Ravine Sèche, Poteneau communal section of the commune of Grande-Saline, in the Department of Artibonite, of his real name "Jean-Pierre Basil Dantor Frank Etienne d'Argent" aka "Frankétienne" is at the same time poet, painter, comedian and co-founder of the literary movement "spiralisme" [founded in 1965 by Frankétienne, René Philoctète joined later by Jean-Claude Fignolé]. He is the author of more than fifty literary works and laureate of many prestigious awards, raised to the rank of Commander in the French Order of Arts and Letters in 2010 and nominated seven times for the Nobel Prize for Literature.
