iciHaiti - Technology : International Day of Young Women in the ICT sector

Jean-David Rodney, the Director General of the National Council of Telecommunications (CONATEL) reminds the telecommunications operators under his supervision that Thursday 26 April will be celebrated, under the auspices of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the International Day of Young Women in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Sector.

Several activities will be organized for the benefit of young girls in the cities of Jacmel, Jeremie, Port-au-Prince, Saint-Marc and Croix-des-Bouquets around the theme "Jèn fi ann sèvi ak teknoloji pou ale pi lwen" (Young girls, let's use technology to go further).

In this spirit, CONATEL's General Directorate invites all telecommunication operators to join this day, each in terms of its obligations towards the population.

The Executive Board of the Executive Body of CONATEL addresses, the expression of its best regards to the telecommunications operators.
