About Laurent Saint-Cyr :

With a background in Management and Insurance, Laurent Saint-Cyr has made his mark in the Haitian Business community, bringing a genuine mix of professional leadership and business strategy in all his endeavours.

Laurent has eighteen years of experience in the banking, technology, automobile and insurance industries which has allowed him to broaden his vision in several sectors giving him an advantage in strategic management.

In 2009, he joined Alternative Insurance Company (AIC), where he holds the position of Life and Health Director. Driven by passion, dedication to excellence, and a tremendous amount of energy, Laurent Saint-Cyr has led AIC Life and Health department to new heights. He has also taken on additional challenges as a key member of the Human Resources Committee, shaping and promoting the values and culture of the organization. As President of the Internal Audit Committee, he holds a strategic position ensuring good governance of the company. He believes in managing a results oriented organization aimed at exceeding the board’s goals and objectives while always taking into consideration the wellbeing of the human capital.

Since 2011, Laurent Saint-Cyr has been the representative of AIC in AmCham. He has played various roles in numerous committees such as Membership, Diaspora and Construction where he invested extensive energy. In 2016, Laurent joins the board where he holds the position of Treasurer then 1st Vice-President where he demonstrates outstanding leadership and dedication and actively participates in restructuring the chamber.
