Thursday "Konsome Lokal", the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Haiti (CClH) and the Association of Industries of Haiti (ADIH) signed a collaboration agreement for the promotion of the consumption of Haitian products through a better value for domestic producers, with the aim of encouraging local production and strengthening the Haitian economy.

The agreement commits the three institutions to concert their efforts to support the producing companies, to create them more opportunities in the market (national and international), but also to reorient the consumer's preference by reminding him and by making him discover the quality of "native-born" products

This agreement has already led to discussions with some supermarkets in the city to improve the inclusion and placement of local products within their departments.

This long-term collaboration begins in May, the month of the "Konsome Lokal" where a series of activities are planned, highlighting certain productions, such as, among other things, the clairin and the "pitimi" through various areas of the capital and of country.
