iciHaiti - Politic : Reactivation of the twinning Town Hall of Les Cayes / Town Hall of Boyton Beach

The Mayor of Les Cayes recently received a delegation from the Town Hall of Boyton Beach (Palm Beach County, Florida) to renew the twinning agreement signed by former Mayor Yvon Chery and José Rodriguez on December 15, 2011.
During this visit it was decided to update the agreement, to strengthen the twinning between the two town halls (Les Cayes and Boyton Beach) and to create a monitoring committee.
Cultural activities were discussed as well as a program of exchange between schoolchildren of Boyton Beach and those of Lycée Philippe Guerrier OF lES Cayes. Note that there are nearly 17,000 Haitian schoolchildren in Boyton Beach.
