iciHaiti - Tourism : PoliTour guarantees the safety of visitors

Tuesday, in accordance with the latest instructions of Michel-Ange Gédéon, the Director General of the National Police of Haiti (PNH), Chief Commissioner Gary Verdilus of the Directorate of Tourist Police (PoliTour), met with the Head of Airport Detachment, Service Managers and Heads of Posts of the Unit to work on strategies for the 2018 summer period.
The Tourist Police, is already very visible in many cultural events as well as in country festivals across the country in recent days, is working hard to ensure the safety of visitors to Haiti in this summer period 2018.
Let's recall that the PoliTour, created under the Minister of Tourism Stéphanie Balmir Villedrouin in 2013 https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-8356-haiti-security-acceleration-of-the-creation-of-the-tourist-police.html has for mission is to monitor the tourist sites and monuments of the country, guide tourists and take action against any individual adversely affecting the tourism sector, will celebrate its 5th anniversary next autumn.
