Tuesday, Meniol Jeune, the Director General of the Ministry of National Education proceeded to the installation of Schiller Caton as new head of the project "For Quality Education in Haiti" (PEQH), a new government project that follows the "Education for All" (EFA) project, funded by several international donors including the World Bank and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). He replaces Norbert Stimphil.

Caton was selected from among 8 applicants, at the end of the call for applications process launched for this position by the Ministry. A career civil servant who has already managed several projects at the Ministry of Education, the new PEQH coordinator says he is aware of all the responsibility associated with this function, which he says he is ready to take seriously and effectively. Cato has a mandate of three years to lead the PEQH project.

The Director General of the Ministry asked the new Coordinator to use his knowledge all his know-how and his skills to manage the institution.
