Thursday at a press conference, Prime Minister Jean Henry Céant, who clarified the new Independent Truth and Audit Commission of the Investigation on the use of PetroCaribe Program funds whose role was misunderstood, said to have already met certain sectors and personalities without mentioning names, except that of the businessman Bernard Craan, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Haiti (CCIH) as a personality wishing to work on setting up this new Commission.

A statement that made reacting Friday the CCIH in a note bearing the signature of Frantz Bernard Craan, which contradicts the claim of Céant and unequivocally states "The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Haiti (CCIH ) wishes to make it clear that no member of its board has been invited and, as a result, has agreed to serve on a PetroCaribe Fund Verification Commission."
