iciHaiti - NOTICE : Environmental impact studies carried out by private firms
The Ministry of the Environment informs environmental assessment consultants that now environmental impact studies required by the Ministry may also be carried out by duly registered firms.

A registry for the registration of specialized firms in Environmental and Social Impact Studies are open to the National Office for Environmental Assessment (BNEE), located at the Ministry's premises at the Metropolitan Industrial Park of Port-au-Prince (SONAPI).

As a result, the Ministry invites interested firms to obtain the required documents to file an application for operating authorization with the BNEE.

Required documents :

  • Copy of the operating permit issued by the Ministry of Trade and Industry;
  • Copy of the publication extract in the official journal (if applicable);
  • Copy of the professional card issued by the Ministry of Trade and Industry;
  • Copy of the national identification card of the representative of the firm;
  • Copy of the tax registration number;
  • Copy of the Patent for the current fiscal year;
  • Copy of the Tax Exemption;
  • A "chèque de direction" of twenty-five thousand gourdes (25,000 HTG) issued to the Ministry of the Environment.
