iciHaiti - 216th of the Flag : Croix-des-Bouquets beautiful for the feast

In recent days, the commune of Croix-des-Bouquets has been actively preparing for the commemoration of the 216th anniversary of the creation of the Haitian flag.

With the support of the Municipal Council of Croix-des-Bouquets, teams have carried out in the neighborhoods operations of cleaning and beautification of their areas.

Young girls and boys swept the streets, picked up jumble, painted walls and set up stands to provide musical entertainment. A real community commitment that the Municipal Council wants to inculcate to all young people so that they develop a sense of responsibility towards their environment.

Let's remember that Croix-des-Bouquets has a tradition of marking the Flag Feast every year, especially with parades of cheerleaders, Corps d'honneur and the presence of young people from other youth movements, including Scouts.

This year again the Municipal Council will take part this Saturday, May 18, at 9:00 am to the traditional "Te Deum", which will be sung in the Church of Our Lady of the Rosary.
