Wednesday 27 May, following the note on the provisional suspension of President Yves Jean Bart by the FIFA Ethics Committee for a period of 90 days for the purposes of necessary investigation into the denunciations made against him in the press foreignhttps://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-30867-haiti-football-fifa-temporarily-suspends-dadou-for-90-days.html , the Executive Committee of the Haitian Football Federation (FHF) during a special session applied the decisions provided for in the statutes to fill this temporary vacuum.

After reading, of article 38, paragraph 5 relating to the replacement of the President in case of temporary absence, the members present confirmed Joseph Varieno Saint Fleur as Provisional President of the FHF during the time of the suspension of Dr. Yves Jean Bart

Article 38, paragraph 5 of the statutes of the FHF stipulates :

"If the President is absent or unable to act, his powers shall be exercised ex officio by the available Vice-President, who will be in charge for the longest time" .

"The Haitian Football Federation renews to all affiliated clubs of all age categories and all divisions, to parents and educators of Federal academies, to young people of the 12 national selections in permanent preparation at the FIFA Goal Center, to players of the national senior men semi-finalist team of the Gold Cup 2019, to the sports press and to the millions of fans attached to our young talents, their unwavering willingness to work to stay on the path to excellence and to keep Haiti among the best CONCACAF selections."
