iciHaiti - Justice : OPC calls for an investigation into the allegations of abuse of female football players
The Office for the Protection of the Citizen (OPC) was informed of the publication of an article published by the English daily The Guardian https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-30677-haiti-flash-football-sexual-abuse-yves-jean-bart-counterattack.html and a video denouncing cases of sexual abuse of young football players at the Ranch of the Croix-des-Bouquets which, according to the newspaper, "were committed by the current President of the Haitian Football Federation (FRF), Yves Jean Bart."

"Faithful to its mission of ensuring respect for and protection of the general principles of human rights (the right to justice and reparation, the right to respect for the presumption of innocence), the OPC asks the bodies concerned in particular the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry for Women's Affairs and Women's Rights and the Institute of Social Welfare and Research to conduct, under the eyes of human rights defenders, https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-30677-haiti-flash-football-sexual-abuse-yves-jean-bart-counterattack.html an investigation in order to shed light on this issue, which can potentially have serious consequences for Haitian football.
