To support the emergency response in Haiti and ensure continuity of care for people with tuberculosis and to avoid a shortage of tuberculosis treatments, which affects nearly 20,000 people in Haiti each year, the Center crisis and support from the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs, through the French Embassy in Port-au-Prince, donated 30,500 Isoniazide tablets to the World Organization for Health and the Pan American Health Organization in Haiti (WHO/PAHO) for the treatment of this infectious disease.

In addition, a donation from the Tulip Foundation of 25,000 essential drugs and medical supplies was channeled to Haiti. Currently stored in the PAHO warehouse in Port-au-Prince, they will be used in particular to help public hospitals to continue, among other things, their response to Covid-19 and to ensure continuity of care for the population.
