The Embassy of Taiwan (Republic of China) in Haiti informs that a batch of 200,000 surgical masks "Made in Taiwan" was given by Ambassador Wen-jiann Ku to Claude Joseph, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Worship in attendance of several religious leaders.

The Embassy recalls that since the start of the pandemic, Taiwan has donated more than 2 million surgical masks to Haiti, in addition to other medical and protective equipment, such as thermal cameras, automatic acid analyzers. nucleic acid, reagents, N95 masks, protective gowns, insulation gowns, forehead thermometers, temperature monitoring systems and hydroquine tablets.

The Taiwanese Government, through several bilateral projects currently underway, is also supporting the Haitian Government on the social, training and health levels to fight against the pandemic.
