Fils-Aimé Ignace Saint Fleur, Director General of the Office for the Monetization of Development Assistance Programs (BMPAD) confirmed that the "MT Unique Infinity" oil tanker which transports 250,000 barrels of diesel arrived Friday evening at the oil terminal of Thor [at Carrefour, south of the capital] where it will unload part of its cargo on Saturday.

On Sunday, the tanker will go to the Varreux terminal to unload another part of the fuel and finally it will go to the Trista terminal (Martissant 25) to complete his deliveries.

This new shipment will help prevent stock shortages and prevent social tensions and speculation as the holiday season approaches, says the DG of BMPAD.
