Saturday, November 21 in the Church of Notre Dame d'Altagrace in Delmas, the funeral of Mrs. Wina Ketty Laferrière Charles was held, sister of the famous writer and academician, Dany Laferrière and wife of the great poet and publisher, Christophe Philippe Charles.

It is in Petit-Goâve, fief or eternal city of Dany Laferrière, that the burial of the one who died at the age of 66 took place at the St-Luc hospital in Tabarre, on Tuesday, November 10 of breathing difficulties.

Wina Ketty Laferrière Charles is survived by two great families of literary creators, the Charles and the Laferrière, as well as the entire literary, or even artistic, Haitian community.
