This week at the Consulate of Haiti in Montreal, a meeting was held between Consul General Fritz Dorvilier accompanied by two agents from the Cultural Section and members of the new Committee of the Association of Haitian Students of the University of Montreal.

As a teacher by vocation, Dr. Fritz Dorvilier was very enthusiastic about the projects of this University Association as well as the possibility of establishing a partnership between it and the Consulate General of Haiti in Montreal, with a view to to supervise, integrate and promote Haitian students in Quebec.

It should be remembered that on December 4, during a meeting with the Director of Latin America and the team of the Antilles and Central America Desk of the Ministry of International Relations and La Francophonie of Quebec, the Consul raised and defended the question of scholarships and exemption from additional tuition fees for Haitian students
