iciHaiti - Insecurity : More than 740 people killed in the violence

As part of the International Human Rights Day, (December 10) the National Human Rights Defense Network (RNDDH) drew everyone's attention to the deterioration of the general human rights situation in Haiti characterized for some time, by the systematic violation of the fundamental rights and individual freedoms of the citizens of the country citing in a report that :

"In 2020 alone, at least 185 people including 25 women and 5 minors lost their lives in massacres and armed attacks recorded in disadvantaged neighborhoods in the West Department; at least 32 Haitian National Police officers were shot and killed and at least 525 people lost their lives in the general insecurity in Port-au-Prince."
