Thursday, December 17 in Dajabón, following intelligence work, military members of the Specialized Corps for Land Border Security (CESFRONT) intercepted a white Hyundai truck carrying a cargo of clothing from Haiti smuggled into the Dominican territory.

The truck, 23 bales of clothing, several phones and some money were seized in the presence of Dajabón Deputy Attorney General Evelin González.

The driver Martín Antonio Maldonado Acevedo, who was accompanied by Randy Alejandro Sánchez Núñez were arrested and handed over to the public prosecutor for the corresponding legal purposes.
