As part of the strengthening of the response capacity of the National Society of the Haitian Red Cross (CRH), the National Red Cross of the People's Republic of China donated to the CRH five new medical ambulances, equipped with cutting edge technology for medical evacuations.

Equipped with negative pressure bubbles, these medical ambulances can evacuate contagious patients without risk of contamination. Paramedics have Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and digital equipment (stethoscopes, blood pressure monitors, thermometers, saturometers, etc...) to work in peace, even with contagious patients.

Dr Guiteau Jean Pierre, President of the Haitian National Red Cross Society warmly thanked Dr Zhu Chen President of the Chinese Red Cross and the Federation's teams of experts for this fantastic assistance in emergency medical equipment. .

These ambulances will allow the Haitian Red Cross to respond even more quickly to the special needs of patients.
