Thursday, December 31, Louckly Francois and Sonson Harold two agents of the General Security Unit of the National Palace (USGPN) assigned to the security of the Presidential family died instantly in an accident when their vehicle left the road in the commune de Gros Morne (locality of Pendus) and overturned for an unknown reason in a ravine.

An investigation has been opened to determine the circumstances of this tragedy. No hypothesis is rejected for the moment including the possibility of an armed attack. Indeed what looks like bullet holes would have been seen on the vehicle during its extraction from the ravine.
