"After a particularly trying year in many respects, marked in particular by a global health crisis, 2021 fosters the hope of seeing a better horizon open for the Haitian population, and of regaining a life better.

We are indeed living through difficult times, and we are facing a crisis of unprecedented magnitude. In addition, the Covid-19 pandemic, after a lull, has resumed and risks causing disruption throughout the social fabric.

I also know that right now, jobs and economic activity are at the center of your concerns. Our entrepreneurs are put to the test as well as some craftsmen and SMEs. The cultural world is also seriously affected. Many employees are worried about the future, and the employment front remains and remains a major issue.

Despite this gloomy situation, we must keep our morale up, move forward, and work together for the development of our beloved Haiti and the well-being of its inhabitants.

In my personal name and that of the City Council of Delmas, I offer my best wishes to the Delmassiennes and Delmassiens, as well as to the Haitian population both inside and in the diaspora, while expressing real confidence in them for the future, in our collective capacity to overcome our concerns and difficulties.

For 2021, the best is yet to come ! May it be for you and your loved ones a year of Peace, security and success in all areas of life, under the high protection of the Great Creator, the God of Israel, whose fidelity is a shield and a breastplate."
