As part of World Braille Day, on January 4, the 212th anniversary of the birth of Louis Braille (1809), inventor of the tactile alphabet dedicated to the blind and visually impaired, David Desroses the President of the Organization for the Handicapped of Mirebalais delivered a message that we share with our readers :

Message from David Desroses :

"I am a blind person and I live in Mirebalais. Thanks to Louis Braille, despite my disability, I am able to read, write and function normally like everyone else in society. Very often people make us think that we do not belong to society because we are blind.

My message today is this : wherever there is information intended for the public, it must also be available in Braille. It is a right that we have."
