iciHaiti - Insecurity : The driver of the Minister of Justice shot dead

Early Monday, January 25 in Pétion ville, more precisely in the Péguy-Ville area, Félix Joseph, close security agent and driver of the Minister of Justice and Public Security Rockefeller Vincent, was fatally wounded by several bullets fired by heavily armed and unidentified individual while driving a state vehicle. A woman who was in the vehicle also succumbed to her injuries.

In a press note "the Minister expresses his deep sympathies to the family of the deceased, to his friends and to his collaborators. He confirms that the police and judicial authorities are already working to apprehend all the perpetrators and accomplices of this crime [...]"

Deeply touched and affected by this tragic assassination, the Minister declared "I remember a brilliant, talented and professional young person [...] Rest in Peace Felix".

The motive for this assassination is unknown for the moment.
