Patrix Sevère Minister of Agriculture, accompanied by his Director General Branly Eugene went to Saint-Raphaēl (North Dept) to meet local elected officials and several associations of agricultural producers in order to inquire about the agricultural problems facing the town of Saint-Raphaēl.

During this visit, the farmers took stock of the situation in the commune of Saint-Raphaël, which has enormous agricultural potential, particularly in market gardening.

At the end of these exchanges and in order to meet the urgent needs of the farmers of Saint-Raphaël, the Minister Sevère made the commitment that from Monday February 1, 2021, several heavy machines will be deployed in this commune to start with the cleaning works on the dam. In addition, agricultural inputs will also be distributed in order to increase agricultural production in this part of the country.
