In Holguín, a city located in the south-east of Cuba (680km from Havana), several cases of serious side effects have been reported following the consumption of a suspected anxiolytic drug (Chlordiazepoxide) from Haiti while it was actually another medicine
Since Cubans face an 80% and 85% shortage of usual medicines, Cubans buy these medicines from those who travel to Haiti and bring back goods for sale in the country.
Various serious side effects have been reported after taking this medication, including : strong headaches, dizziness, blurred vision and numbness of the body...
