iciHaiti - Rep. Dom. : Framework agreement for the education and training of young Haitian professionals

Monday on the campus of the National Evangelical University (UNEV) in Santiago, Dr. Juan Guerrero Ávila, Vice-Rector for International Affairs, on behalf of the Rector, Leonardo Valverde, Director of the Center for Strategies, Innovation and Competitiveness companies (Cecompite) and James Jacques, the Consul General of the Haitian Consulate in Santiago, a tripartite framework cooperation agreement was signed for the education and training of young Haitian professionals residing in the Dominican Republic and in Haitian territory.
This one-year agreement aims to promote, among other things : joint studies that make it possible to influence the regularization process, the improvement of living and working conditions, the stability of Haitian immigrants on the Dominican territory , the development of training programs and academic updating for graduated professionals who are not in productive activity...
