Léon Charles, the Director General ai of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) advises the entire population that in his concern to facilitate the smooth running of the carnival and pre-carnival festivities, restrictive measures will apply on the various routes and gathering places.

These prohibitions concern in particular :

a) Carrying a firearm;

b) The use of sharp weapons (knife, machete ...) blunt (hammer, stone ...);

c) The sale and consumption of beverages in glass containers;

d) The circulation of any unauthorized vehicle within the internal perimeter.

These measures are in effect until Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at 6:00 a.m.

The General Directorate of the PNH is counting on the collaboration of all for full compliance with these measures.
