The Ministry of Planning and External Cooperation (MPCE) recently organized an orientation day for 25 trainees recruited on the basis of recommendations from different Universities and Faculties of the country. This is a three-month internship program launched by Minister Joseph Jouthe.

During this day, the trainees attended presentations which focused on the organization of the MPCE, the functioning of the public administration, the legal framework, ethics and professional conduct of the public service.

The various presentations were made by senior officials of the Ministry.

This initiative stems from the orientations recommended by Prime Minister Jouthe in his letter of framing of the 2020-2021 budget. More specifically, this internship program consists of strengthening the skills and integration of young people in the public administration. At the end of the three months of activities, the trainees will submit a report to their structures of affection which will be followed by an evaluation in order to complete the process.
