iciHaiti - Education : 2nd edition of the Haiti-Sciences'2021 National Olympics

As part of the celebration of International Women's Day, on March 8, the UNESCO Chair, Women and Sciences for Development, of the Higher Institute of Technologies and Advanced Studies (ISTEAH), launched the second edition of the Haiti-Sciences'2021 National Olympics. A competition for schoolchildren from NS3 and NS4 in secondary schools across the country, on Monday, April 5, 2021 from 9 a.m. Interested parties can register at the following address: https://www.isteah.edu.ht/concours-2

On Monday April 5, participants will receive a link to the Haiti Sciences'2021 platform. It will be open at 9 a.m. for a period of one and a half hours. The platform will be accessible from a computer, tablet or smart phone with Internet access. The event will be held online. The competition includes 5 blocks - Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science - with the same weighting.

There will be cash and in-kind prizes. Five cash prizes will be awarded as follows:

- The first prize is 50,000 gourdes;
- The second prize is 35,000 gourdes;
- The third prize is 25,000 gourdes;
- The fourth prize is 15,000 gourdes;
- The fifth prize is 10,000 gourdes.

In addition to these cash prizes, there are 5 other prizes in kind for a total of ten. The results will be published on the ISTEAH website at the following address: www.isteah.edu.ht
