Jude Jacques Élibert, Director General of the National Identification Office (ONI) informs that everything is being done to speed up the process of registration and delivery of the National Identification Card (CIN), on the one hand and to improve the quality of the service provided, on the other hand.

He encourages all compatriots not yet registered to initiate the process for obtaining their Card and invites those who have already submitted a request to collect their CIN.

In addition, he also informs that ONI continues to collaborate with all the institutions involved in the issue of identification in Haiti with a view to effective data sharing. Thus the ONI continuously and regularly transfers the list of citizens in its database to the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) specifies the Director Élibert

The latest report dated March 21, 2021 shows four million two hundred eight thousand ninety-one (4,208,491) people already registered.
