iciHaiti - Kidnapping : Petit-Goâve closed to traffic
As of Friday, March 26, the city of Petit-Goâve will be closed to traffic, as a sign of solidarity for the release of the Goâvienne marketer Nerlande Charles kidnapped in Port-au-Prince.

"People from the South and users of the national road #2 are asked to stay at home. They will not be able to pass near Petit-Goâve. All access will be blocked [...] this great mobilization will only stop when we obtain the release of Nerlande Charles," indicated a group of very motivated young activists who demand from the kidnappers the release of the merchant who has now been held captive for more than 10 days and whose health is fragile.

Recall that the kidnappers first demanded a ransom of 150,000 US dollars, before "reducing" their demand to 300,000 gourdes, we learned from relatives of the victim.
