On Wednesday the National Police of Haiti (PNH) informed that the named Nathalie Toussaint had been arrested at the beginning of the week, accused of fake kidnapping.

Living and domiciled in Fontamara, she wanted to make believe that she had been kidnapped at Martissant 23 since April 26, while she had remained locked and cloistered at home.

Nathalie Toussaint wanted to extort a ransom of 70,000 US dollars from her partner who is a Canadian citizen of Haitian origin, living outside the country.
