Investigators from the Central Directorate of the Judicial Police assisted by a justice of the peace carried out a search of the home of the named Bonnet Vanol, arrested by agents of the Bureau of Financial and Economic Affairs (BAFE), for embezzlement of public funds, forgery, use of forgery and criminal association.

Following this search, the investigators of the DCPJ found and seized :

- 21 checkbooks (17 from BNC and 4 from Unibank)

- 3 laptops - 3 mobile phones- 2 seals - 135 BNC gourde deposit cards - 7 BNC dollar deposit cards- 41 Unibank gourde deposit cards - 1 Unibank dollar deposit card - 29 business licenses - 16 copies of BRH C/C checks totaling more than 40 million Gourdes (40,848,962.13Gdes) - 10 copies of Public Treasury checks totaling more than 30 million Gourdes (30,200,000 Gdes) - 26 copies of checks issued for the benefit of individuals and businesses various totaling more than 10 million Gourdes (10,656,000 Gdes) - 146 tax numbers.
