On Friday, May 21, agents from the Office for the Fight against Narcotics Trafficking (BLTS) carried out an operation in Pétion-ville on the Pan-American Avenue in the area of the Montana hotel, more precisely on Cineas Street in the house occupied by an individual identified as Réginald Mathonne born in P-au-P on August 22, 1977.

During this operation the BLTS seized : - 219 grams of marijuana; - 1 Ruger brand 9mm caliber pistol of the P 1960582 series; - 1 charger and 8 9mm caliber cartridges; - 1,490 US dollars; 10,000 Gourdes; 200 Argentine Pesos; 5 Canadian dollars; - 1 security plate; - 1 small Tombia brand scale; - 1 vest per bullet; - 1 pair of handcuffs.

Réginald Mathonne was arrested and is currently in the hands of the Central Directorate of the Judicial Police (DCPJ) for the follow-up to the proceedings.
