The Consulate General of Haiti in Atlanta in partnership with the Haitian-American Chamber of Commerce of the State of Georgia, the Haitian Culinary Alliance and various chefs including Chef Jude, Chef Marie and Chef Pierre celebrated the Haitian Restaurant week (May 30)

An approach that goes into the promotion of Haitian culture through the culinary art. The Consulate took advantage of this event to honor certain women leaders within the community, including :

Ms. Lucita Simervil: Founder of "Lucita's Accounting Firm";

Ms. Rosebrune Vixamar: President of the organization "International Women of Hope";

Ms. Bijoux Abellard: Founder of the organization "Fanm Poto Mitan";

Dr Dorothy Chrisostomo: President of the Association of Haitian-American Nurses of Georgia;

Ms. Samara Félix Gracia: Founder of the humanitarian organization "Samara’s Angel".
