iciHaiti - Mexico : A bus of Haitian migrants overturns, at least 33 victims

Thursday, June 17 in the afternoon, a tourist coach that left Tapachula, in the State of Chiapas (southern Mexico) for Acuña Hidalgo in the state of Coahuila (northern) with 62 passengers (52 adults and 10 minors,) all from Haiti, overturned at kilometer 77 of the Tampico-Mante highway, near the municipality of Manuel.
The National Guard, which quickly reached the scene of the accident, requested the support of the rescue corps, which urgently transported 33 injured people to hospitals in the region
According to the first information available, the wet pavement due to the rains and a distraction of the driver with his mobile phone could have been the cause of this accident. An investigation was opened to determine with the experts, to determine the exact circumstances of this tragedy of the road which made at least 33 hospitalized victims.
