On Tuesday, June 29, 2021, agents from the Central Directorate of Judicial Police (DCPJ) arrested two individuals actively wanted on the airport road.

This is Deronvil Nelson, wanted for his involvement in the kidnapping at Pèlerin 3, on March 27, 2020, of Dr Jerry Bitar Jerry Bitar, Director of Bernard Mevs Hospital, co-leaders of the institution https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-30388-haiti-news-zapping.html. He was also wanted by the Narcotics Trafficking Brigade (BLTS) for drug trafficking following a warrant issued against him on May 14, 2019.

The second Darbouze Eugène J. Viau was wanted for arms and ammunition trafficking, forgery and use of forgery.

Several objects were seized during their arrests including: A 9mm caliber pistol, Glock brand, serial number BAHC927 and 3 magazines; a pair of handcuffs; several false identification cards in the name of Darbouze Eugène: a card from the National Police of Haiti (PNH), a card from the National Service for the Management of Solid Residues (SNGRS), a card from the National School Canteen Program (PNCS); a card from the Ministry of the Interior and a license to carry a weapon.
