During a preventive patrol carried out this week in Croix-des-Bouquets, the National Police of Haiti (PNH) came across a group of heavily armed individuals of the Gang "Chien méchant" aboard several vehicles, which opened the fire on the police who immediately retaliated.

During the exchange of fire two of the bandits were fatally injured and three others were arrested (Frederic Bill John, Leger John Sanie and Hyppolite Jean junior).

Under intense police fire, the individuals fled leaving behind 7 of their vehicles : 3 motorcycles and 4 cars.

The police recovered, among other things :

- An AK47 rifle filled with 10 cartridges of 7.62 * 39 caliber

- 302 cartridges of caliber 5:56

- About thirty cartridges of various calibers

- A keychain that goes anywhere including 73 keys

- Two masks

- Four cell phones
