Friday July 16, 2021 around noon, former president Jean Bertrand Aristide (67), arrived at Toussaint Louverture airport on board a private plane registered HI1060, after 3 weeks spent in Cuba where he was treated for complications related to Covid-19.

He traveled with his wife and and Maryse Narcisse and was greeted by a select group of personalities. Visibly in good shape Aristide was satisfied with the welcome he received. After greeting the people present, he climbed on foot into an ambulance.

Recall that Aristide was transferred to Cuba on June 24 34068 , after President Jovenel Moïse made it easier for him to obtain a diplomatic passport with a humanitarian qualification.
