Unprecedented event, Haiti will be part of the group of states and governments sitting on the Board (CA) of the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF) for 2021-2025.

Haiti's election to the Board is explained by its unwavering attachment to the values of the Francophonie and the recognition, by other States and Governments, of its involvement in the construction of the international space of the scientific Francophonie.

Composed of representatives of universities and States, the Board is one of the highest decision-making bodies. This board administers the AUF in accordance with the general policy defined by the General Assembly, to which it is responsible. The countries that will now be part of it are : Cameroon, Canada, Canada-Quebec, Ivory Coast, Egypt, Fédération Wallonie Bruxelles, France, Haiti, Morocco, Romania and Switzerland.
