iciHaiti - Politic : The PM visited the Senators
On Thursday August 5, 2021, the acting Prime Minister, Ariel Henry, visited the Senators at their office located on the Bicentenaire. The exchanges between the Head of Government and Senator Joseph Lambert President of the upper house as well as with several of his colleagues were both cordial and fruitful.

They agreed, among other things, on the return to institutional and democratic order, the improvement of the living conditions of the population, the establishment and maintenance of a climate of security and peace, conducive to organization of free, fair, inclusive and democratic elections.

The Prime Minister took the opportunity to salute the hospitality of the senators in general, the friendliness of its President in particular, while renewing the determination of his team to relaunch, as quickly as possible, the electoral process in order to endow the country with a legitimately elected political staff.

Following this visit Joseph Lambert wrote on his facebbok account "This Thursday, the Senate Office received Prime Minister Ariel Henry. This visit was worth discussions on an efficient administration of the State, with a view to a return to institutional life and democratic order. Talks continue."
