iciHaiti - Necrology : Death of sports journalist, Pierre Paul Charles
Petricks Justin, the Minister of Youth and Sports learned with emotion and sadness the death of Emérite Sports Journalist, Pierre Paul Charles, Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at the age of 76.

Training engineer, Pierre Paul Charles has dedicated a great passion for sport and has gone to the practice of sporting journalism with remarkable professionalism.

"[...] His voice, his culture, his elegance have made him a very respected sportsman of his generation. Sports enthusiasts of several decades still remember this extraordinary voice and its particular way of ensuring the narration of football matches at major sporting events retransmitted by National Television of Haiti.

Retired for several years, Pierre Paul Charles is part of this very closed circle of sports journalists guided by the sole concern to serve the sport and promote it in an unconditional manner.

In this painful circumstance, Minister Justin, presents his deep sympathies to the family, relatives of Pierre Paul Charles and the sports press. The entire Haitian sports community owes special damage to this honorable servant of the sector who helped write beautiful pages, the history of the Haitian sports chronicle.

Rest in peace !"
