Thursday August 12, 2021, during an important police operation in Beudet 7, more precisely in the village, the police of Croix-des-Bouquets proceeded to the arrest of the gang leader Joseph Jean Evens aka "Ricot" and two of his accomplices Mervilien Walken and Joseph Jivens.

During this intervention the police seized among others :

- 3 rifles of caliber 12 and ammunition

- 1 mini Uzi, equipped with a silencer and a charger

- 1 pistol 9 mm

- 4 motorcycles

For the moment, these individuals are behind bars at the Croix-des-Bouquets police station while waiting for their cases to be referred to justice.
