iciHaiti - Humanitarian : Humanitarian aid planes continue to arrive in the country every day
On Wednesday August 18, 2021 two planes, one from the company JET NET (AWB-3501872-2345) and the other from Air Charter (AWB-401-10049546) arrived at Toussaint Louverture International Airport carrying equipment and medical supplies, a donation from the organization St Boniface Haiti Foundation (SBHF).

This equipment will be transported by land to the municipality of Aquin, which was severely affected by the earthquake of August 14.

Tuesday August 17 two other planes of the NGO Samaritan's Purse (SP), arrived in P-au-P with on board, electrical equipment, communication, medical equipment, tents, computers, clothes and a generator . This equipment was transported to Les Cayes on board US military helicopters.

Pre-fabricated medical centers will be set up in Les Cayes by Samaritan’s Purse to receive the wounded from the earthquake. 11 foreign doctors are already on site.

Note that a Samaritan's Purse truck carrying humanitarian aid was attacked by armed men in St-Louis du Sud, but was finally able to reach its destination without damage thanks to the rapid intervention of the National Police of Haiti, insisted on an NGO official.
