Following the Centre d'Art's call for proposals in December 2020, five architectural firms, selected after deliberation by an independent jury (JB Millet / Mon studio, Aedifica Sud, Eva Studio, Cabinet Lescot and Atelier Co-Lab) were invited by the Boarda nd the directorate of the Art Center to the Maison Larsen-Ethéard site for a first evaluation of the works

Let's recall that Maison Larsen-Ethéard was purchased from the heirs in December 2019 by the Centre d'Art https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-29570-haiti-heritage-the-art-center-buys-the-gingerbread-house-of-the-larsen-family.html thanks to an exceptional donation from its partners and loyal donors, the Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation (under the aegis of the Fondation de France) and the Fondation de France.

This 1920s gingerbread-style house, located at 22 rue Casseus in Pacot (Port-au-Prince) is a pillar in the future of the Centre d'Art. The new premises will house the collection of more than 5,000 works, activities open to the public, artistic residencies, not to mention the Art Center's work team.
